As a Romsey resident I believe Crosfield Hall is a significant contributor to Romsey town centre, so I attended the meeting headlined in the November 17 issue of the Advertiser.

It was very revealing. One official told me that the future plan depended on the payment from developers for the Crosfield Hall site.

The overwhelming feeling in the room was that Crosfield Hall should be retained. I met no-one who was in favour.

In the previous edition of the Advertiser Councillor Cooper states that the toilets are 'antediluvian' as one of his reasons for demolition. Will Councillor Cooper have his own house demolished if updates to facilities are required?
