ONE application was refused by Winchester City Council planning officers this week. 

In Denmead, Mr and Mrs Harvey's plan was refused for a single storey three bedroom dwelling with attached one-bedroom annexe including associated car parking, landscaping and infrastructure, at 16 Park Road. 

All other applications were permitted. 

In Colden Common, Thomas Gilbert can have a two storey side extension at 15 Hunts Close. 

Salma Rashid has an application permitted for a single storey detached summer house/home office at Norlands, Otterbourne Road in Compton. 

Gary Owen, in Denmead, has an application permitted for a roof to be raised on existing bungalow with front and rear dormer windows; two-storey extension along side and rear; front double garage extension with rooms in the roof; driveway relocated; extended permeable grass paving grid to allow for extra parking. This is at Maisdene, School Lane.

In Durley, Harry Smith had an application permitted for a new dwelling with detached garage and associated driveway on land adjacent to Graysway, Durley Brook Road. 

Ricardo De Freitas Duarte, in Kings Worthy, can have a two storey front extension, addition of front and rear gable ends, alteration to existing dormer window, internal alterations and driveway alterations, 6 Loader Close. 

In Micheldever, Jackie Gillin can rebuild and extend a garage at Lilliput Cottage, Duke Street. 

James Dickson, had an application permitted for the demolition of the existing garage, a small rear and side extension, internal rearrangement, a replacement garden room and works to the hard landscaping behind the property. This was at 7 Treble Close, Oliver's Battery. 

In Whiteley, Neville and Anna Maria Voss and Chrisanthis can convert existing garage, one and a half storey side extension for a proposed garage, single storey rear extension, first floor extension, two and a half storey front extension to form a gallery entrance hall, single storey front extension with balcony over at 35 Skylark Meadows. 

In Winchester, an application submitted by a planning agent was permitted for the demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment of the Site to include: erection of new warehouse units (flexible employment use within Classes E(g)(ii), E(g)(iii), B2 and / or B8); alterations to existing access and provision of new access; provision of car parking, landscaping and associated works and infrastructure, at I A C House, Moorside Road. 

Mr and Mrs Smith can have a box dormer to rear elevation; new rooflights to front elevation at Crantock, Fivefields Road.
