EVANS John Passed away peacefully at Southampton General on 12 April 2016, aged 53, after a courageous battle with GVHD. John was diagnosed with Leukaemia in February 2015 after being unwell for a while, and in true John style he courageously fought the disease, whilst still conducting his Ampfield Electrical business from hospital. John was husband to Ruth, dad to Alice and Ben, son of Brian and Barbara, brother of Janet, GSL of North Baddesley Scout Group, and a very sociable drinking buddy to too many to mention! -------------------- His Funeral will be held at Southampton Crematorium (East Chapel) on Tuesday 26th April 2016 at 1.15 p.m. Black need not be worn. Family flowers only but donations, if desired, to either the Leukaemia and Transplant Unit Fund or the Antony Nolan Trust c/o A.H.Cheater Funeral Directors, 122 The Hundred, Romsey, SO51 8BY.
