WAKEFORD Jeremy (of Lockerley) died peacefully at the Countess Mountbatten Hospice, West End, Southampton on the 21st November, aged 69 years. Son of the late Leonard and Maxine Wakeford of Romsey; brother of the late Quita Hill of Michelmersh; much missed brother and brother-in-law of Jacqueline and David Hawker; uncle of Katy and Christopher Hawker, Karina Houghton, and Andrew Hill; nephew of Cynthia Milton. Jeremy will be missed not only by family but by the flyfishing community in the area and elsewhere, many of whom have benefited from his knowledge, skill, and patience as a flyfishing instructor. Private Family Funeral Service at 1.00 pm on 11th December at Michael's Wood Natural Burial Ground, Cholderton, Wilts. No Flowers, please; donations if desired to benefit either the Countess Mountbatten Hospice, West End, Southampton, or the RSPB. Donations can be sent to A.H. Cheater Ltd Funeral Directors, 112 The Hundred, Romsey, Hants, SO51 8BY A gathering for friends will be held later, date and venue to be notified.

Throughly enjoyed many an hour chatting with Jerry about his passion for fly fishing, wild birds and many other topics in our local pub and shop. It was always a joy to bump into you Jerry. A gentle and kind man whose passing I am very sad to hear about. I hope you find some peace. Love From Kelly. X
