TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – PART OF SCHOOL LANE, BROUGHTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) has
made an Order to allow for carriageway works to take place, as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED That part of School Lane, Broughton from High Street to B3084 Salisbury Road
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE From the western point of the closure south on Salisbury Road. East on Queenwood Road. North on High Street, Broughton and vice versa
PERIOD OF ORDER : From Monday 2nd April 2012 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner
DURATION OF WORKS : Notwithstanding the period of the Order it is anticipated that the works will be completed within three weeks, or as signed on site
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out
