A BASINGSTOKE-based IT security and risk management firm has won the Dynamic Business of the Year Award at the Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards.

Accumuli Security, based at Tuscany House, in White Hart Lane, received the honour at a gala ceremony held at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, at the Madejski Stadium in Reading.

It was presented by BBC newsreader Fiona Bruce and Nick Hewer, Lord Sugar’s right hand man in The Apprentice.

Chief executive officer Gavin Lyons, said: “This award is a tremendous honour for us and is affirmation that we are doing the right things for our customers and employees.

“The entire team is delighted and I thank Deloitte for investing the time to understand our company in detail. “The Accumuli growth story has been a tremendous experience and we wouldn’t have been able to do that without our people.

“We recognise that people are our best asset. They have the rare skills and capabilities that are highly sought after in the market so it’s vitally important that Accumuli is a great place to work, that the team feel recognised, rewarded and developed. “We continue to strive to become the number one UK independent specialist in IT security and risk management and this award will only spur us on further to achieve that together as one team.”
