A LEADING Hampshire law firm has picked up a gong at a national awards ceremony.
Aspire Law, a partnership between Aspire, a spinal injury charity, and Moore Blatch, a firm renowned for its personal injury work, has won Alternative Business Structure of the Year at The Lawyer Awards.
The ceremony saw over 1,200 legal professionals gather at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel in London to celebrate the industry’s successes over the past 12 months.
Damian Horan, legal director at Aspire Law said: “We are delighted to have won this award, which not only recognises the hard work put in by the whole team, but also a new and innovative approach to spinal cord injury work that Aspire Law is able to offer.
“This is an excellent start for the business, which is still in its first year of operation and provides a solid base to continue to build from.”
Aspire Law operates under an alternative business structure licence, made possible by the Legal Services Act, which enables law practices to go into businesses with other organisations and non-lawyers, to own and invest in a law firm.
