A NEW DIY HOME improvement store is set to open a new branch in Winchester, creating 25 jobs for local people.
Wickes, which sells home improvement products, kitchens and bathrooms, is currently being built on Easton Lane – opposite Mole Country Stores.
It is not yet known when the shop is due to open, however the r how much money has been spent developing the site new store manager is Jamie Gray.
He said: “We’re excited about the opening of the new Wickes Winchester store, which will come complete with a new kitchen and bathroom design centre and a bigger outdoor range.
"Customers will also benefit from a faster and improved shopping experience as well as access to Wickes’s one hour Click & Collect service or free home delivery.”
