A WINCHESTER law firm has celebrated its first anniversary with the appointment of a new addition to its team.
Eric Robinson Solicitors has appointed Guy Hurst as a new partner to help the firm’s prosperity and client portfolio.
Having qualified as a chartered surveyor and formerly worked as a land agent Mr Hurst first ventured into law 20 years ago, working for some of the most prestigious firms in London.
But he decided to give up on his daily commute to the city as well as his celebrity clients in order to stay closer to his Hampshire home.
Mr Hurst said: “On a personal level, it is delightful to be back in Winchester not far from where I grew up. I know from experience of working with local farmers and landowners that there is constant demand for professional services in property and estates in the area, so there is tremendous opportunity and potential.
“Professionally, it is exciting to join a firm such as Eric Robinson Solicitors that has undergone a tremendous transformation in the past couple of years. The firm is establishing itself in new markets and growing with impressive speed, while maintaining its approachability and ethos of the past 50 years. I relish new challenges and it is good to be asked to bring my experience to such initiative and determination.”
