Digi Toolbox, a Segensworth based IT, telecoms and web design company, is a national finalist for the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) and Worldpay UK Business Awards 2017, in the Employer of the Year category.

Now in their fourth year, the FSB Worldpay Business Awards, will take place in London on May 10th, where the 11 national category winners and the overall Business of the Year 2017 will be announced by Tim Campbell MBE.

Tim is founder of the Bright Ideas Trust and winner of the BBC’s first series of The Apprentice.

Digi Toolbox Owner – Mark Viccars comments “At a time when much of the news is focused on the uncertainty of being a small business in the UK, I think that it’s great to be a part of an event that celebrates the hard work of those who have taken the big step of running their own business.”

In January the firm became involved in Southampton City Council’s ‘Transitional Employment Programme’ which supports long term unemployed people to get back into the workforce and gain vital work experience whilst being mentored by their staff.

Mark explains “We believe in looking beyond the usual employment avenues that other companies use and because of this we have been able to utilise a wealth of resources that many employers overlook.”

The awards will take place in London on May 10.
