Savills South Coast Development Team has expanded with the appointment of two graduates.

Ben Jones has joined the team as a graduate surveyor, having completed an MSc in Real Estate at the University of Reading.

Ben has always lived locally and he completed an internship with the South Coast Development Team last year.

He said: “I am excited to be joining a growing team and looking forward to working on some interesting projects on my way to qualifying as a chartered surveyor. South Coast Development is an exciting sector to be working in as positive sentiment continues to spread from London into the regions and lending returns.”

Charlotte Sythes has also joined as a graduate surveyor, from Savills in Wimborne, where she was a graduate town planner.

Charlotte grew up in Belfast and studied at Queen’s University Belfast, before working for the East Belfast Partnership.

She moved to Dorset in March last year and is now working towards her RICS APC (Planning and Development Pathway), which she is due to sit in spring 2016.

She said: “Having gained invaluable experience in the Wimborne planning team, I am excited to join the South Coast Development Team and combine my understanding of the planning system with my interest in the commercial market, in order to contribute towards the wide range of development, consultancy, valuation and agency work undertaken by the team.

“The current demand for development land is high, which makes it an exciting time to join the development team and assist with the delivery of development sites, including both immediate and strategic land.”
