Organist Bryn Bridges
The lunchtime concert in the Abbey next Wednesday (September 10) at 1pm promises to be outside the usual run of organ recitals.
Bryn Bridges, a Romsey resident, who is organist at St Edmund’s RC Church in Southampton, has chosen to feature tuneful works not normally associated with the organ.
The programme, entitled “Something borrowed….”, includes a prelude on the “Londonderry Air” and works originally written for films, pageants, and opera.
