Stephen K Amos at
The Lights, Andover

ONE of Britain’s most popular comics will be taking to the stage in Andover next week.

Stephen K Amos, fresh from yet another run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer, is bringing his Welcome to my World tour to The Lights theatre.

As always, the evening promises to be hilarious, but in true Amos style the tiniest dash of subversion will be thrown in for good measure.

Stephen will raise questions and concerns, such as ‘why is the world reacting to Russia’s Ukraine invasion as it is?’ and ‘why are people really voting for UKIP?’, and will air his frustration that people in 2014 are still reluctant to talk about racial and sexual inequality.

He has established himself as a household name over the last decade, performing at the Edinburgh Fringe every year since 2003, with shows including All of Me, Find the Funny and The Best Medicine.

The comedian has also graced TV screens in The Stephen K Amos Show, Celebrity Great British Bake Off, Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week. Stephen K Amos: Welcome to My World is on Thursday, October 30, at 8pm. Tickets start at £17.
