Jumpers for Goalposts, the Plaza Theatre, Romsey
A ROMSEY theatre is set to host a heart-warming comedy which fuses two cultures.
The Romsey Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society will stage Jumpers for Goalposts by award-winning author Tom Wells from Tuesday, March 24 to Saturday, March 28.
Set in a scruffy changing room over six post-match Sundays, it follows the members of the unpromisingly named Barley Athletic five-a-side football team.
They want to secure the Gay and Lesbian Football league title, but all have their own dreams in this compassionate depiction of people struggling with personal crises.
Jumpers for Goalposts is suitable for those aged 14 and over.
It starts at 7.30pm at the Plaza Theatre.
