Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have toasted their upcoming nuptials with a party.
The couple, who got engaged on Christmas Day, celebrated with a dinner and drinks at private members’ club Soho House in Hollywood, surrounded by close family and friends.
Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger led a toast to the pair, which was photographed by Sofia’s 21-year-old son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara.
Manolo – whose father is Sofia’s first husband Joe Gonzalez – poked fun at the fact his dad and the True Blood hunk share a first name, hashtagging the picture Papa Joe Volume 2.
He wrote: “Congratulations to these two ugly people. It’s so sad, but luckily they have me to aspire to, physically. #Congration #YouDoneIt #HappiestCoupleEver #EngagementParty #PapaJoeVolume2 #TerminatorGaveASpeech #HostedByBarryPeele.”
Sofia, who wore a red strapless dress, also posted images from the party on her Instagram page. The celebration came days after she was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 7.
The Modern Family star and Joe, who started dating last July, have already set their wedding date, but Sofia admitted it hasn’t been easy narrowing down the guest list.
“I had to invite like all my family, and Joe has a lot of friends. So it became bigger and bigger and bigger,” she told radio host Ryan Seacrest.
