| Steve Smith celebrates one of his wickets. |
TEENAGER Steve Smith took five wickets for just eight runs as title chasing Old Tauntonians & Romsey skittled Southern Electric Premier League strugglers Purbrook for 37 - a record low score in Division 2 cricket.
OTs went on to record an emphatic ten wicket win - the whole game lasting less than two hours!
"Steve and John Dowling bowled well as a pair, getting the ball into the right areas," bubbled OTs club captain Max Smith, Steve's father.
"He relished the conditions and made the ball swing. We complemented it by taking some good catches."
