Esther defies the weather for Christmas lights switch-on
Romsey’s Christmas lights switch-on defied the weather on Saturday night.
The honours were done by television presenter Esther Rantzen with help from members of the Romsey Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (RAODS).
The ceremony was preceded by a procession, which featured everything from snowmen to children dressed as the 101 Dalmatians, for the town’s Winter Carnival on Saturday.
