Romsey’s new community gallery will not close on December 22, as planned.
Siriol Sherlock, director fo Rum’s Eg, in Bell Street, said the project had gathered such momentum, it would be a shame to lose it.
The gallery was due to close for work to continue on the refurbishment of the first and second floors of the former Volumes premises.
However, the gallery will now stay open while any work carries on above.
