Test Valley residents are being urged to volunteer for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The fire service is hunting for people who can help put on a host of projects, ranging from road safety workshops to working with the equestrian community.
The roles on offer are unpaid, but volunteers can claim expenses.
Applicants, who should be at least 18 years old, will receive training.
Volunteers will not be required to attend operational incidents.
Lee Joss, volunteer coordinator for the fire service, said: “You could be involved with anything from assisting with home safety visits, attending local events and talks to promote fire safety, to giving fire prevention advice, informing us of potential fire hazards and partaking in role play to assist firefighters with their training.” To find out more e-mail volunteers@hantsfire.gov.uk or visit www.hantsfire.gov.uk/volunteers.
