The Friends of St Peters and Stockbridge Pre-School Charities have collaborated to organise the 3rd Stockbridge 10K race this Sunday. The main race will set off at 1030am from outside the White Hart with a fun run starting at 10.40am. The race has grown year on year and around 200 runners are expected on the day plus around 50 fun runners.

“It is a great family day supported by both young and old, with members of the local community around the course marshalling and providing encouragement.

“It has been organised in association with Run Britain and runnersworld and can still be entered on line at www.runnersworld.com (£14) or on the day (£16). Registration opens at 9am.

The run supports two independent charities supporting all ages within the local area.

Stockbridge Pre-School is an Ofsted approved, charity funded pre-school that provides early years education for children aged two to five years. It is situated alongside both Stockbridge Primary School and the Sure Start Centre in the centre of town. The pre-school welcomes children from Stockbridge and the surrounding villages, providing both the necessary learning foundation for the children and small respite for the busy families.
