A ROMSEY road has been closed following a serious crash involving a car and lorry this morning.
Yokesford Hill is expected to be closed for a number of hours after the collision, which happened just before 10am between the junction with the A3057 and the turning for Jinny Lane
Police have warned motorists to expect long delays.
Road closures are in place at the junctions of Yokesford Hill, Bunny Lane, A3057 and the junction of Belbins and Cupernham Lane.
Officers are urging all motorists, including HGV drivers, to avoid the area as there are no other suitable diversion routes due to the flooding.
The road was being used as a diversion for those diverted off of the A3057 due to the flooding along Greatbridge Road and Budds Lane.
Motorist are experiencing delays on the approach roads.
