White van spotted near scene of crime
POLICE are warning people in the Nursling and Rownhams area to be on the lookout for a white van spotted near the scene of attempted break-in.
Officers say the Ford Transit van and two men were seen acting suspiciously near the attempted break-in at Greenhill Lane in Rownhams on Wednesday last week (October 8).
One man was wearing an orange overall and the other a black cap, black t-shirt and grey jogging trousers and they were both walking quickly at the time. When police arrived there was no trace of the men or the van.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Romsey police on 101 and any reports of people acting suspicious should also be reported.
