These two not-so-little piggies are going all the way home to Romsey from Aldershot.

Romsey Old Cadet band members Steve Tesch and Andy White will be wearing the group’s pink pig costumes on their sponsored 45-mile “stroll” from north east Hampshire on October 25.

They are raising money for new instruments for the band.

Their final destination will be the Bishops Blaize in Romsey but not before they have called in at The Star, The Tudor Rose and The William IV in the town.

At the Bishops Blaize, landlord Wayne Holman is laying on a barbecue, a prize draw and live music for the pair’s arrival.

The Old Cadets band will also be performing in the early evening.

If you wish to join the band, they practice at The Royal British Legion Club on Tuesdays from 8pm. Go along and ask for the chairman Gavin Pearse. Alternatively, for more information, visit romseyold cadets.org.uk.
