Mottisfont Abbey is staging a Nutcracker-themed Christmas.
From tomorrow (Saturday, November 29) the National Trust site hosts a special Christmas experience to tell the story of The Nutcracker using puppet theatre.
The visit starts at 10am with a peek into a Christmas party, ascending the stairs to the sound of ticking clocks then enter the mechanical world of The Nutcracker.
There will be an exciting battle between the Mouse King and toy soldiers before heading outside to the Land of Snow and the Land of Sweets, during the month-long event.
Children will also have the chance to meet the Sugar Plum Fairy on December 6-7, 20-21, from 12pm. For more information visit nationaltrust.org.uk/mottisfont.
