A ROMSEY pub has been sold.
Fullers have taken over the Cromwell Arms which was owned by an independent company Delicious Dining. The changeover at the pub, which has undergone numerous name changes over the years, took place on Monday.
It was originally known as the Horse and Jockey and later became the Casa Bodega before being named the Cromwell Arms.
Under Delicious Dining, the pub received several accolades for its hospitality. These included the only AA Gold Star awarded to a Romsey pub restaurant.
Annaliese Hughes from Delicious Dining said: “Our 16 years of ownership has seen the venue successfully grow into the much loved and recognised country pub it currently is and we wish Fullers every success with its continuing development.”
Current general manager at the Cromwell Arms, Mark Walkers
