HIGHWAY chiefs plan to put the brakes on speeding motorists using a country lane at Nursling.
County council officials are behind the proposal to introduce a 30 mph speed limit at Station Road in the village.
The 520m stretch currently has a maximum speed limit of 60mph and the road links Nursling with Lee and the Nursling Industrial Estate. The public has until May 18 to make their views known to the Hampshire’s road bosses.
