POLICE are hunting this woman after the theft of £1,600 worth of clothes from a Hampshire shop.

Officers have released CCTV images of a woman caught on camera stealing the haul of clothes from the Fat Face store in Romsey on two different days.

Daily Echo:

On the first occasion staff noticed a gap in the clothing on display and knowing they had not sold that many items, they checked the CCTV and spotted the woman putting the clothes into a Waitrose bag.

She then left the shop, in The Hundred, without making any attempt to pay.

The clothing was in several sizes and worth around £1,000.

Then, just two days later, the same woman returned to the store again and was captured on CCTV again placing clothing, worth around £600, into a Waitrose bag.

Daily Echo:

She is described as being white, with blonde hair, or a slim build and had her hair in a pony tail. She was carrying a leather bag and a Waitrose bag.

Anyone with information about the thefts, which happened on May 3 and May 5, or who recognises the woman, should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
