POLICE are continuing to investigate a Hampshire pensioner's "unexplained" death.
James Horn has been named locally as the 74-year-old who died after a fall from a top-floor flat at Bracken Road, North Baddesley.
And officers say they are treating the death as unexplained but have no evidence to suggest any assault.
A police spokesman said: "A post mortem has confirmed the man died as a result of injuries consistent with a fall.
"Police are currently treating it as unexplained but there is no evidence to suggest an assault took place.
"Enquiries are still continuing into how the incident happened."
As reported by the Daily Echo, residents have spoken of their shock at the death at the quiet block of flats in the village near Romsey.
