ALMOST a thousand Hampshire residents are without power this morning after an electrical fault.
Households in West Wellow and the surrounding Romsey area lost power at 9.50am this morning.
A spokesperson for supplier Scottish and Southern Electricity said engineers are currently tackling the problem and the 934 customers are expected to be back on line by midday – if not sooner.
An investigation will be carried out into what caused the fault once the connection is restored, but early indications suggest a safety mechanism was tripped.
