OH yes it is! Time is running out for talented young people to apply to perform in this year’s Theatre Royal panto Peter Pan.

The theatre needs boys and girls aged nine years and above to play the Lost Boys and female dancers over 16 to take part in its popular traditional panto production.

We are also looking for males aged 16 and over for the ensemble. Unlike the females 16 and over category, the males are not required to be dancers.

It’s a chance for budding performers to appear in one of the UK’s top pantomimes. Last year Cinderella sold a record number of tickets and all performances during the school holidays were completely sold out.

Auditions take place on Sunday May 21.

But the clock is ticking faster than the one in the crocodile so would-be panto performers should make it snappy and fill in an application online at theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk by May 7.

The theatre actively wants to increase the diversity of those appearing on its stage and welcomes applications from all young people regardless of race, sexual orientation, religion or disability.

Rehearsals will begin on November 5 for four weeks, followed by rehearsals with the professional cast.

Peter Pan runs at Theatre Royal Winchester from December 5 until January 1.
