ROAD closures have been announced ahead of Common People festival this weekend.
The event will be bringing some of the biggest names in music to the city from tomorrow including Pete Tong and Sean Paul.
Southampton City Council has confirmed Hill Lane, to the east of the common, will be partially shut from 10.30pm to 11.30pm.
This will affect the northern end of the road.
It is shut to allow revellers to exit the festival safely.
Two other roads that will be closed are Cemetery Road and part of Northlands Road.
These will be shut to the public all day on Saturday and Sunday, with only emergency access allowed.
Diversions will be in place.
