AN ARRAY of colours flooded the streets of West End for its annual carnival celebration.

The high street was transformed into a sea of song and dance as the carnival parade marched through the streets.

The procession saw 20 local groups and businesses taking part, led by the Big Noise Community Samba Band from Gosport.

They were followed by the carnival queen, her court and citizen of honour Zena Ramplee, who was a carnival princess 50 years ago.

Starting from Quob Lane, residents danced all the way to West End High Street before heading to Hatch Grange.
