Pub evacuated as kitchen grill catches fire
AN ABBOTTS Ann pub was evacuated after a kitchen fire on Thursday last week.
One person was treated for minor hand burns as firefighters were called to Poplar Farm Inn, in Old Salisbury Road at 2.15pm.
The fire service said the blaze was caused by a build-up of grease in the kitchen’s grill.
The incident was dealt with by 3.11pm.
