BROADLANDS festival is back with a bang this year as the annual event announces its line up for 2018.
Hundreds of people will gather on the estate in May to get involved in the country show that has animal displays, shooting competitions and live music.
Set within the grounds of the Broadlands Estate, the show returns with a newly-acquired falconry and raptor fair.
They clay shooting festival returns along with individual competitions for each day of the Broadlands Country Show, on top of more cash prizes than any previous year.
From the shotgun experience for beginners and experienced shooters to individual contests for ladies, juniors and veterans, this year has a record number of prizes.
A statement from Countryman fairs, which runs the show, said: "Boasting everything from world-class field sports competitions and have-a-go opportunities, to lots of family inspired fun and entertainment, Broadlands in 2018 presents an action-packed programme that audiences of all ages will love."
The country show will also welcome Britain's longest established dog team, the Essex Dog Display inside the Realtree Main Arena.
New for 2018 is the British Falconry and Raptor Fair, where visitors can watch demonstrations and displays from leading falconers.
Away from the range of competitions, the Broadlands Country Show has a variety of events including a folk roots festival, a food festival and a field sports arena.
From animal displays, an airsoft range and a mole show, live music will also be available for those visiting on the weekend of May 6 and 7.
