POLICE have issued a warning to residents across Test Valley after counterfeit notes and coins were reportedly being used.
Officers have advised residents after reports of fake £20 notes circulating.
For businesses, police have said to ensure staff are educated on the ant-counterfeit security features that bank notes carry, and telling neighbouring businesses of suspicions.
They also say to keep all CCTV evidence and make sure workers know what to do with a fake note.
Then, explain the note will be handed into police and contact officers.
