POLICE have appealed for information after an offender smashed a car window to steal goods from vehicle in a Test Valley beauty spot.
Officers are investigating following the break-in of a vehicle parked at Danebury Hillfort, near Stockbridge, between 11.30am and 12.30pm earlier today.
The offender smashed the car window and removed items of an unknown value.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity around the area is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference number 44180190953.
Officers have also issued advice to those parking their cars in beauty spots, not to leave items inside the car when it is left unattended, even if they are out of view, in case criminals are watching.
