RESIDENTS are invited to support terminally ill patients by taking part in a memory walk this weekend.
The West End-based Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity (CMHC) is hoping for residents to offer their support during the Sunflower Memory Walk set to take place on June 24 at Broadlands Estate, Romsey.
The initiative is to become the charity’s flagship event and will start at 10am.
Each person who takes part in the walk will receive a wooden sunflower to dedicate to someone special.
The event will be followed by a memory service at the Countess Mountbatten Hospice on July 8.
Every year the charity, which provides care for those with life-limiting illnesses, raises around £1 million to support patients and families.Tickets for the walk cost £15 for adults and £10 for children. To book visit cmhcharity.org.uk or call 02380 475313 .
