IT is the day many look forward to for the entire year.
Romsey residents and visitors alike flocked to the streets of the market town on Saturday for the return of the annual Beggars Fair.
The 26th event, venues and stages played host to live music, art, dance and other attractions.
Big bands played music from rock to folk, and cheerful pub sessions were accompanied by storytelling.
There was also praise for the police presence in town, with officers in Romsey arresting a man on suspicion of assault.
On social media, police said: "The Beggars Fair is a family event and this behaviour is not acceptable."
