Bicycle bell
SIR – Please will cyclists using the Abbotswood SHARED pedestrian/cyclist path get a bell fitted to their bikes and use it when coming up behind pedestrians.
It is very startling to suddenly have someone speed past you when you have know idea they are coming. We CANNOT hear you coming!
We may even inadvertently step into your path and you may come off worse, even my dog jumped out frightened whilst walking next to me on her lead.
Please lets us know you are coming and slow down, thank you.
