KING John’s House in Romsey hosted two days of archery sessions open to the public.
Despite the weather, both occasions saw a huge number of visitors, who were all there to learn about the history of archery, and to try the activity for themselves.
The event was performed by an external organisation named The Free Company of Aquitaine, who are renowned for gifting archery experiences across the UK.
The group acted as though they were seeking refuge at the museum before embarking to France for battle. Consisting of archers from across the world, including one from Virginia, the company staff were able to spend the Saturday night in the historical house.
This is the fourth time that the group have visited the museum and have left King George’s House considering a repeat of the day in the near future.
