DRIVERS in Test Valley will have 16 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 10 closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A303, from 8pm March 17 to 6am March 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Thruxton to Parkhouse Corner, Lane and exit slip road closure for Hampshire County Council Council works, diversion via National Highways and local Authority network.

• A303, from 8pm March 13 to 6am March 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, junction 9 to Three Maids Hill, carriageway and lane closures for survey works, diversion route via National Highways network.

• M27, from 8pm February 7 to 6am March 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 3, slip road and lane closures for roadmarkings, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 8pm January 18 to 6am April 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Parkhouse, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing work, diversion via National Highways network.

• M27, from 9pm January 25 2021 to 6am April 6 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound to M27 westbound, link road closure for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme, diversion route via National Highways network.

• M27, from 8pm October 12 2020 to 6am April 18 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 4 and M3 both directions, junction 14, Llnk road and lane closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme, diversion via National Highways network.

• M27, from 8pm October 28 2020 to 6am April 21 2023, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27, junction 4 and M3, junction 14 all directions, link road and lane closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme, diversion via National Highways network.

• M27, from 8pm July 1 2022 to 6am April 25 2023, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 14 to 12, link road and carriageway closures for M3 concrete barrier scheme, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

• M3, from 9pm December 9 2020 to 6am May 3 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 10, slip road closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme, diversion via local authority and National Highways network.

• A34, from midnight, February 1 to 11.59pm December 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): abnormal Load - Swansea to Southampton.

And a further six closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M271, from 8pm March 20 to 6am March 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M271 northbound, junction 1, slip road and hard shoulder closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 8pm March 20 to 6am March 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Overton to Bullington, Lane closures for drainage work.

• A303, from 8pm March 21 to 6am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Thruxton to Parkhouse, Lane closures for drainage work.

• A34, from 8pm March 22 to 6am March 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Bullington, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 8pm March 23 to 6am March 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Barton Stacey, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A303, from 8pm March 24 to 6am March 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Longparish, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
