THORNDEN Hall, based at Thornden Secondary School in Chandler’s Ford, will welcome celebrity entertainers for a range of performances in 2024.
These one-night-only events will include magic, music and monologues.
The local theatre hall has secured performances from Martin Fry - the lead singer of 90’s pop band ABC, singer, actor and presenter Aled Jones, and singer-songwriter John Lydon aka Rotten.
In previous years, the stage has welcomed names including Paul Young, Lulu, Francis Rossi and Marti Pellow.
Kerry Ellis, who has performed in We Will Rock You and Wicked, will be opening her tour Queen of the West End at Thornden Hall in September 2024.

Thornden Hall manager Neil Daykin said that he is excited about the busy programme of events taking place at the hall.
He added: “We’ve got a really impressive lineup for 2024 - it’s going to be a great year of theatre for us. I can’t wait to welcome so many talented entertainers to Thornden Hall.
“Keeping the arts alive is incredibly important for the school community. Our programme of performances means we can be a thriving and vibrant hub for schools, local theatregoers and community groups.”
Opened in 2003, the Thornden Hall Arts Centre provides support for Thornden School’s performing arts department. It underwent a complete refurbishment in 2021.
More information about the performances can be found by visiting the Thornden Hall website.
