VILLAGERS are encouraged to pop into a hall just outside Romsey as part of Village Halls Week.

Mottisfont Village Hall, on the B3084 five miles north of Romsey, will be opening its doors from 10.00am to 1.00pm on Saturday, March 23.

Regular hall users including Mottisfont & Dunbridge Women’s Institute and art and history groups will be on hand to answer any queries.

Preserves will be on sale and there will be an Easter Trail for children with prizes.

Thanks to a Lotto Grant the kitchen was recently refurbished with a range cooker, fridge and dishwasher. There is an accessible toilet and an external ramp providing access for wheelchair and semi-ambulant users.

Outside the playing field and patio has views over the Dun Valley with fields down to the nearby river Dun. Users can also hire gazebos, charcoal and gas barbecues.

There will be a warm welcome to everyone to view the lovely village hall at Mottisfont and an opportunity for everyone to share their ideas for the future.
