A pub in Winchester has confirmed it is open as normal as scaffolding has been erected outside for works to be completed.
Bishop on the Bridge, at 1 High Street, is located on the bank of the River Itchen, and has been surrounded by scaffolding for a number of weeks now.
The scaffolding is in place to aid works in completing external redecoration, as well as work being completed on the roof.

It has not been confirmed how long the scaffolding will be in place for, although while the scaffolding is erected, the pub will remain open as normal for customers.
A spokesperson for Fullers, who own the Bishop on the Bridge, confirmed the works taking place but said no closure for the pub was planned while the works are underway.
A spokesperson said: "We are carrying out some external redecoration and roof work, and the pub is open as usual."
