YOUNGSTERS explored the tradition of Ghanaian drumming at the Theatre Royal, Winchester, last week.
Children aged eight and above were able to let out all their pent up energy at Rob Shipster's workshop.
The young drummers used their hands, sticks, shakers and bells to beat out tunes in a rhythmic exploration of Ghanaian drumming.
The final workshops of the summer being held at the Jewry Street based theatre, are a two day dance workshop and Hip Hop, where children aged six and above will dance to save the world', using creative contemporary dance and making costumes out of recycled materials.
For dates, times and prices, call the Theatre Royal box office on 01962 840440 or visit: www.theatre-royal-winchester.co.uk.
