Hampshire charity, Momentum in Fitness, is preparing for a 15,000ft skydive fundraiser on April 27.
CEO Charles Balchin and three teammates are aiming to collect £5,000 for local beneficiaries. By jumping out of a plane over Salisbury - a first for the entire team - the funds will support several projects.
This includes Project:Teens helping disadvantaged youngsters, Project:PiamBrown offering exercise therapy for children aged 3-16 with cancer and brain tumours, and Project:FitForLife increasing social interaction and physical activity for older adults.
Charles said: "Dorian has been an avid supporter of Momentum in Fitness since we began our work in early 2023. A few months ago he convinced me our next challenge would be a skydive and here we are!
"As someone who has a fear of heights this is going to be quite a challenge for me but I’m channeling this into the fundraising knowing that by facing my fears, we’ll be able to help make life a little easier for some of our beneficiaries facing theirs."
Dorian said: "As an ambassador for the charity, I’m really pleased to get involved in supporting the three key projects which are very close to my heart, having a son with special needs and a daughter that has now fully recovered from cancer. "
