A CHOIR, a dog show, a ukulele band and more will be at a Hampshire village fete.

Awbridge Village Fete will be held at the village hall on Saturday, May 11 starting at 12pm.

This year’s entertainment includes Romsey Voices and Romsey Ukulele Band along with Hursley Pony Club, Russetts Fairground and the dog show organised by Hansards Pet Centre.

All funds raised go back into the village.

Awbridge District Village Association secretary Kerry Daley said: “We pulled in over 3,000 people last year and hosted just over 235 classic cars, bikes and tractors. It was an incredible day.”

Association chairman Fred Tucker said: “The classic cars bring followers from as far as Poole in Dorset to join in the fun. We look forward to welcoming everyone this year. It will be a great day out. We could not put this event on without the amazing support from our committee and volunteers from the local community. A big thank you to them and also to our wonderful supporters who have given raffle prizes.

“A huge thank you to the businesses who have supported our event by providing raffle prizes Bradbeers, Golden Gecko, Flack Manor and The Duke on the Test just to name a few.”
