Shortlist of nominees for Test Valley Business Awards announced

The shortlist of nominees for this year’s Test Valley Business Awards has been announced.

The 15 businesses in contention are shortlisted by category below with the award sponsor show in brackets.

Employer of the Year (Kier): Andover Transport - Andover, Lionel Hitchen Essential Oils - Andover, Swattons – Andover,

Innovation and Technology (University of Southampton Science Park): Ilika Technologies - Chilworth, SEaB Energy - Chilworth, VuePoint Solutions – Andover,

New Business of the Year (North Hampshire Enterprise): Minerva Health & Care Communications Ltd - Andover, Nicholas Howard Ltd – Andover, VuePoint Solutions Ltd - Andover,

Small Business of the Year (Hampshire County Council): Chappell Builders Ltd - Andover, Minerva Health & Care Communications Ltd – Andover, Thyme & Tides – Stockbridge,

Tourism Business of the Year (Test Valley Borough Council): Mottisfont Abbey- Mottisfont, The Three Tuns - Romsey, Thyme and Tides – Stockbridge.

The winners will be announced atthe gala awards ceremony and dinner at The Lights in Andover on May 22.

Fred Dinenage, local broadcasting legend, will be a the event having come hot-foot from the Meridian Tonight studios, to share some of his experiences from his long and fascinating career. The evening will culminate in Fred revealing the winners and presenting their trophies. Master of ceremonies for the evening will Steve Randall of The Breeze Andover.

Guests will also also hear from this year’s chosen charities, Andover Young Carers and the Romsey Young Carers Group, about their work in putting some fun back into the lives of youngsters who are carers for their relatives.
