Power mix-up leaves homeless in limbo

FAMILIES have been left in limbo as they wait to move into brand new homes in a Test Valley village because the development has no electricity.
The 10-home scheme at Springfield, off Romsey Road, in Awbridge, has been finished since January, but when they were connected to the mains, it caused a blackout in the village.
Now Hyde Housing, which runs the site, said it could be July before tenants can move in.
