TWO men who have been campaigning to halt a controversial cycleway proposal in its tracks are questioning why new official notices have appeared along the proposed route along Andover’s Weyhill Road.
The proposal has already been given the thumbs-up by Hampshire County Council’s portfolio holder for transport Cllr Sean Woodward.
Test Valley Borough Council is running a consultation for residents on the plans, which closes on 5 September.
One resident, Alan Turner, says he believes the authority is just going through the motions with a consultation, rather than seeking genuine concerns from the public.
